The world is too loud. I seek the rhythms of nature. The sun rising and setting in vivid hues or water gently caressing the shore, soothe and inspire me. It’s taken me time to see the connection between my expressions of nature’s beauty and my sense of melancholy. If you look a little deeper you might discover a feeling of disquiet. I'm often dismayed that we tend to destroy what sustains us. I have reverence for the wild and untamed places; nature’s rhythms move me. I long for the quiet spaces where I can just be. 

My Sun Collection explores the varied colors and moods between night and day - those transitional moments that fill me with wonder. My Sea Collection reflects the years I lived near the ocean. The movement and the sheer size of the water never ceases to amaze me. 

My Soul Collection focuses inward, it's an introspective view. I create idealized imagery to express inner landscapes that are difficult to put into words. It's more like a revelation or an unburdening. My favorite artists are Vincent van Gogh and Edvard Munch. I feel their influence is especially evident in this collection. These masters captured mood and emotion so clearly that I am forever in awe of their work.
